Apostle R.B. DuBose

Founder.jpg

Apostle R. B. DuBose was born in Abbeville County to the late Talmadge Carr & Helen Williams in May of 1932 and went to her heavenly home in November of 2016. She later married the late Robert DuBose of Iva, SC and bore nine children. She received her diploma at the A.C.T.S High School of Abbeville, SC and obtained her theology degree from Martin Webb Learning Center in Greenville, SC.

She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist where she was a member of the Senior Choir and the Missionary Board. She was a woman full of the Holy Ghost, and danced as if fire was in her shoes. She was mother to everyone she met, she often prayed before Liberty High School games in school hallways, and in break rooms on her job!

Throughout her travels , she met many people that she would love, and feed physically and spiritually. In April of 1988, the cottage prayer service was later named Shekinah Temple Evangelical Ministries. She along with faithful members obtained the first physical location on Highway 93, Liberty SC. As the Lord led, and the church expanded, STEM moved to 7833 where they placed 12 acres of property on layaway.

She preached life-lessons, and enjoyed the presence of the Lord. She often traveled to revivals, and was found in the hedges & byways, inviting lost souls to the family of Jesus Christ. She was a woman of excellence, and she stood by what she preached, and a seer, that took God at His word!!

Kind Regards,
Pastor Angel Williams
